What Makes You Happy?

As part of our research and to give us inspiration, we decided to ask the public and people within our school a questionwhat makes you happy? Shown below are the replies we recieved. We found that a lot of things that made people happy weren't material objects and even if they were, they were often cheap/comforting ones.

To recieve as many replies from as many people as possible, we handed out pieces of scrap paper and let people think about their answer/s. Here are some of the responses we recieved:

As you can see, we recieved a lot of feedback and have decided to take ideas such as spending time with friends/family, shopping, sunny days and chocolate to emphasise the little things in life and incorperate them within my music video so it can represent real life as closely as possible.

I have narrowed down the basic ideas of what people like and will be using subtle elements of these things within my music video. Sarah and I want to focus on love, youth and fun within our music video therefore this activity gave us a good idea of what people love deep down.
